for guests visiting the San Juans

Come explore the beauty of our Islands! Connect to our waterways, learn about natural & cultural history, wildlife, and canoe culture on our sacred wa’a (canoe) Kaigani and/or Hoku'ula, &  Proceeds go to support youth voyaging programs in the San Juan Islands.

Our primary Basecamp and departure location is Shipyard Cove Marina located just outside of town and minutes from the Ferry Terminal.

Price Includes:

  • Ho'okele (canoe guide)

  • paddling instruction/gear

  • dry bag storage

You provide:

  • Gratuity for your guide (optional, but appreciated!)

  • water bottle

  • quick dry clothing/extra layers

  • sunscreen, hat, glasses, camera, etc

  • sandals that can get wet
